A lecture theatre has been named after entrepreneur Dr Allen Shi Lop-tak as a tribute to his ardent support for PolyU’s development since 2005. Addressing the naming ceremony, Council Chairman Mr Chan Tze-ching and President Prof. Timothy W. Tong expressed sincere appreciation to Dr Shi and Mrs Kimmy Shi of Brilliant Group for their generous support. Located in Block Z on campus, the Allen Shi Lop Tak Lecture Theatre has 252 seats with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment for teaching, seminars and academic workshops. ♦
