Ir Dr Otto Poon, Outstanding PolyU Alumnus and Chairman of the ATAL Engineering Group, recently donated HK$2 million for the University’s development. President Prof. Timothy W. Tong thanked Dr Poon for his generosity and his valuable advice on sustainable development over the years. In recognition of Dr Poon’s ardent support for his alma mater, an appreciation plaque will be placed on the façade of the Alumni Atrium, a new facility for alumni networking and activities on campus. ♦
