More than 700 eye care professionals, industry practitioners and leading optometry scholars gathered in Hong Kong from 5 to 7 November to attend the 17th Asia Pacific Optometric Congress (APOC), which was held concurrently with the 7th Hong Kong Optometric Conference and the Hong Kong Optical Fair.

A joint opening ceremony of the three events was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5 November with Dr the Hon. York Chow, Secretary for Food and Health of the SAR Government, as the Guest of Honour.

APOC was hosted by the Asia Pacific Council of Optometry and co-organized by the Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Centre of Sun Yat-sen University, China, and PolyU’s School of Optometry. Details >>
