PolyU’s Institute of Active Ageing has recently launched the “Outstanding Third Age Learner Awards 2012” to celebrate the achievements of third-agers (those aged 50 or above) in the pursuit of lifelong learning, particularly those who have overcome challenges or hurdles in the learning process, and to recognize their contributions to the community by applying their acquired knowledge or skills.
