PolyU to participate in China’s lunar exploration programme

 

 

PolyU recently signed an agreement with the China Academy of Space Technology to formalize research collaboration relating to China’s lunar exploration programme.

Led by Prof. Yung Kai-leung, Associate Head of the Department of Industrial and System Engineering, the project will develop a “Camera Pointing System” capable of deploying a camera and precisely controlling its rotational and tilting movements. The system is designed to operate under extreme environment with a high degree of adaptability while the camera will have both image-capturing and surveillance functions. Details>>
