PolyU innovations honoured in Geneva’s Invention Expo

PolyU to participate in China’s lunar exploration programme

 

 

 

PolyU has brought home two Gold Medals, three Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal at the 38th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva held from 21 to 25 April 2010 in Switzerland.

Among the six award-winning innovations, the Micro-Encapsulated Phase Change Material Thermal Storage System and the Discovery of Polyomnics – an Innovative Class of Cell Regenerative Agents, swept a Gold Medal with Jury’s Commendation and a Gold Medal respectively.

The University won Silver Medals for its inventions of the E-Clustered Prototype Assessment System, the Flexible RFID Encoder and Decoder, and the Rapid Ultrasonic Decalcifier. In addition, the Intelligent Context-aware Decision Support System for Container Terminal Monitoring was awarded a Bronze Medal. Details>>
