All students are admitted to the
BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing & AI. In the first year, they take a common set of subjects to lay a foundation for university study and gain a taste of the Scheme. In the second year, they can select the individual awards and study the corresponding content. All these awards feature a Minor option and an individual or a group integrative capstone project in the final year.
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science
- Year One: fundamental knowledge, laying the foundation for university study and gaining a taste of the Scheme.
- Year Two: generic broad computing skills, and basic business and management concepts.
- Year Three: strengthening computing technologies and applications in IT.
- Final Year: specialisation in different areas such as data mining, computer graphics, e-commerce, Internet computing, multimedia computing and game programming.
