Quzhou Delegation Visits PolyU to Explore Strategic Collaboration
On 20 March 2025, PolyU welcomed a delegation from the United Front Work Department of the CPC Quzhou Municipal Committee for a meeting aimed at fostering mutual understanding and exploring future collaboration opportunities.
The meeting was graced by Prof. TENG Jin-Guang, President of PolyU, who introduced the University’s latest developments and strategic plans for the future. Representing the delegation, Mr ZHANG Chaoxiong, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Quzhou Municipal Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, shared insights into Quzhou’s recent developments and its vision for innovation and growth.
Prof. LI Qing, Chair Professor and Head of COMP, Prof. ZHENG Yuanqing, Associate Professor, and Prof. HUA Wen, Assistant Dean (Graduate Studies), Associate Professor of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Presidential Young Scholar, presented potential collaborative projects. Discussions focused on emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, the metaverse, smart farming, and education, highlighting a shared commitment to leveraging technology and academic exchange for regional and global advancement.
The visit concluded with a dinner gathering, providing an informal setting for further dialogue and relationship building.
