Appreciation Lunch for 50th Anniversary Organising Committee and Supporting Teams

As part of the COMP 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2024, COMP hosted a series of memorable events, including a kick-off ceremony, distinguished talk series, digital time capsule campaign, alumni homecoming, research student conference and a programming contest for secondary school students, which was culminated in the Gala Dinner on 8 November 2024. To express sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the celebrations, the department held an appreciation lunch at the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel on 26 February 2025.

The lunch brought together the members of the Anniversary Organising Committee, the COMP general office and the technical team in a warm and joyful gathering. It was a moment to honour the collective effort behind the year-long anniversary events. Thank you to everyone who contributed, whose dedication made the celebrations truly special. We look forward to the continued growth and success of the department in the years ahead.
