In collaboration with the iOS Club, COMP successfully hosted the Mobile App Innovation Contest (MAIC) 2025 – Hong Kong Regional Final Competition on 4 July 2025. The contest aimed to empower future innovators and strengthen collaboration in IT education between universities in Hong Kong and China, bringing together the brightest student minds from across Hong Kong and Macau to address real-world challenges through mobile technology.
Spanning three months, the competing teams, each comprising three students from higher education institutions, completed their mobile applications from ideation, development, to deployment, and pitched their innovative outcome to a distinguished panel of 23 judges and VIPs.
