1. What is the role of optometrist in the health care system?

Optometrists are health professionals trained to provide comprehensive eye and vision care, such as eyesight correction and diagnosis of common conditions related to the eye or vision.

2. Is Optometry a recognized profession?

Graduates are eligible for direct entry to Part I of the Optometrists Register of the HKSAR.
