Since 2000, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has conferred the honorary title of University Fellowship on a number of outstanding individuals in recognition of their significant contributions to the University and the community. To date, a total of 131 distinguished persons have been awarded with University Fellowship.

In September 2015, the University Fellows Association is established. The objectives of the Association are to foster fraternity of the University Fellows and to enhance their roles in promoting the University’s mission in nurturing students and serving the community.
