July 2018 - PolyU joins the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Supercomputer Alliance

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Supercomputer Alliance embraces the user organizations to foster the innovative application and development of supercomputer, and deepen the exchange and collaboration within the alliance. The Tianhe-2 supercomputer operated in National Supercomputer Center in Guangzhou would be the major cooperation foundation to the advancement of the supercomputer application among the alliance members. The alliance members include Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Guangdong University of Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and University of Macau.

Dr. Terence Lau, Director of Innovation and Technology Development of PolyU participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Supercomputer Alliance inauguration ceremony held during the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance Presidents' Forum 2018.
