The Rising of Korean Street Food and Beverage

The Korean wave has been sweeping Asia continuously over years. After the success of the Korean pop culture, cosmetics, fashion, we are pleased to explore the phenomenon of rising popularity in Korean street foods and beverages business in Hong Kong's Festive Korea, with the support from Consulate of Korea.


What actually attributes to booming number of Korean stalls, restaurant, and retail outlets into hospitality chain? Simply to say, the only thing that beats a buffet are tons of small dishes for any picky eater’s satisfaction – without sensory overload.

 

With your own tasting experience, we will savour your favourite street snacks from the Land of Kimichi. We will dish up an enticing variety of 3-4 savoury and sweet bites that are right up your alley.

 

On the beverage side, rice is the key ingredient in Korean alcohol, stemming from the country’s long history as an agricultural nation. Other traditional beverages include beer and vinegar still play a huge part in Koreans’ modern social life.

Unless workshop is cancelled by the Food and Wine Academy (FWA), all payment received are non-refundable and no-shows will be charged full payment. 3. Payment must be made at least 3 days before the workshop and can only be refunded if cancellation is submitted via email at least 2 days before the workshop. 4. The FWA reserves the right to change any terms and conditions without prior notice. Any disputes relating to the workshop shall be decided by FWA, whose decision shall be final and conclusive. 5. Adverse Weather Arrangement: Workshop will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or black storm warning is raised within 2 hours before the start of workshop. In case of cancellation due to adverse weather, full refund will be given.
