Over 200 activities were held throughout the year of anniversary celebration. Several festivities, including the Open Day, Presidents’ Forum and Celebration Dinner, brought the year-long celebration to a fruitful conclusion.
Achievements

A research team led by Prof. Chen Sheng has developed a sensitive method for isolation of mcr-1-bearing bacteria from various sources and investigated the prevalence of mcr-1 in various sample types.
Connections
PolyU has named the premises of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management after Mr and Mrs Chan Chak-fu in appreciation of their contributions to hospitality and tourism management education.
