Research students win Eli Lilly Thesis Award

Two PhD students of the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, Mr Chung Wai-hong and Ms Dong Xiao-li, recently won the second place prizes of the 2009 Eli Lilly Asia Outstanding Graduate Thesis Award.

A panel of experts from the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association was formed to assess the impacts of individual theses on advancing science and technology in the subject field. Eventually, a total of 21 winners from 11 universities and research institutes on the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan were selected.
