PolyU honours outstanding staff

 

PolyU paid tribute to some 30 dedicated staff members for their outstanding achievements in teaching, research and scholarly activities and services, at a special ceremony held on 25 November. The Awards are grouped in the categories of “President’s Awards for Excellent Performance / Achievement”, the “Faculty / School Awards for Outstanding Performance / Achievement” and the “Outstanding Performance / Achievement Awards for Non-academic Staff”.

The winners of the President’s Awards are:

Teaching (Individual):

  • Dr Henry Chan, Associate Professor, Department of Computing
  • Prof. Iris F. F. Benzie, Chair Professor and Associate Head, Department of Health Technology and Informatics

Research and Scholarly Activities (Individual):

  • Prof. Chen Xiaojun, Professor and Associate Head, Department of Applied Mathematics
  • Dr Su Zhongqing, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering

Services (Individual):

  • Dr Vincent T.Y. Ng, Associate Professor and Associate Head, Department of Computing

Services (Team):

  • Dr Ong Chung-wo, Prof. Helen Chan-Wong Lai-wa, Mr Matthew Wong Man-hon, Mr Eugene Ng Yu-him, Dr Wong Yuen-wah, Dr Lam Chi-hang, Dr Mak Chee-leung and Dr Lo Veng-cheong of Department of Applied Physics
