To alleviate the problem of shortage of hostel places, PolyU has recently rented a newly completed building in Mongkok to provide hostel places for 90 non-local students. Each unit, with a gross area of 760 sq feet, consists of a 4-person room and a single room. As the building is near to the Mongkok East train station, it will be convenient for students to travel to campus.
