About 900 students and staff of the University, in collaboration with over 50 non-governmental organizations, rendered their expertise and knowledge to various sectors of the community through participating in the 2008/09 Community Service Learning Programme.

On 19 January, a special ceremony was held on the university campus in honour of those exemplary community service projects. Mr Chan Tze-ching, PolyU Council Member and Consultant to the Bank of East Asia, and Prof. Timothy W. Tong, PolyU President, presented awards to the students. Details >>
