Strategic Area III: Evidence-Based Practice and Empowerment

The RCGFS’s research and development outputs represent a major source of knowledge and innovation that can affect practices and services for Hong Kong’s greying population. In addition, the empowerment of older adults encourages their sharing of knowledge, insights, and experiences. We view older adults as valuable assets, contributors, and consumers in society, as people in other age groups are viewed. The RCGFS offers lifelong learning programmes for the third age (retirees) and plans to develop an Association for the Third Age.
