At the 7th Biennial Conference of The Asian Association of Lexicography (AsiaLex 2011) in Kyoto, Japan, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University won the bid to host AsiaLex 2015. Prof Chu-Ren Huang was elected as the Vice President of AsiaLex and Dr Li Lan will continue her duty on the Executive Committee of AsiaLex. The Asian Association of Lexicography was founded in Hong Kong in 1997. It will be exciting to see its 9th biannual conference return to its birth place.
