Beijing Centre

In 2023, PolyU established the PolyU Beijing Centre, formerly known as the Beijing Liaison Office in 2013. The Centre is located in the central and easily accessible CBD offices of Chaoyang District in Beijing, and its primary focus is to support PolyU's development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH) region by building strategic partnerships with local universities, government bodies, research institutes, commercial enterprises, and non-profit organizations. The aim of these partnerships is to enhance academic research, education programs, and student learning opportunities.

The Centre facilitates various activities and programs in Beijing, with a focus on connecting with local government ministries, recruiting high-quality students for PolyU, and supporting student activities, including Work-Integrated Education (WIE) programs. Through these initiatives, PolyU aims to strengthen its ties with the local community in Beijing and further expand its academic network in the region.
