BOT Schedule: Cohort 1

The three modules that make up the Certificate in Becoming an Online Teacher will run every semester beginning in S2 of the 2013-14 current academic year.

You can do all modules in one semester or take them over two consecutive semesters.

Note that Module 3 requires you to have an active class of students to work with.

To receive the BOT certificate you must attend all face-to-face sessions and complete a range of online tasks. Study hours in the table marked with * are compulsory in order to pass the module and achieve Certificate status.

Is it possible to study module 2 and 3 first in Sem 2 and then module 1 in summer Sem? Please advise. Thanks.

    • Jenny says:

      Hi Larry
Sorry, it is not possible. The modules are sequential, building on each other, and need to be completed with Module 1 first.

It is however possible to complete Module 1 in Semester 2 this year, and then do Modules 2 and 3 in Semester 1 of next academic year.

      Hope this helps.
