“Keep improving myself and be ready for every single opportunity!” Today, Ryan is confident of rising to challenges, yet he was once a passive university student. Through the encouragement and guidance from PolyU professors, Ryan learnt to embrace the challenges of different environments. After graduation, he grasped a chance to work in a commodity trading company in South Africa as the only Asian in a management trainee programme, and developed his career in international trade.
