You are cordially invited to attend the talk “Life is Experience” – Mainland Youth Elites Sharing co-organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, ACYF HK Members Association, The Y.Elites Association, and YouthOnline Association. The details of the talk are as follows:

Through inviting elites who have contribution on social development to share their success stories and journeys, the “Life is Experience” series aims to inspire the youth to explore, be brave and innovative, realize their potentials,  chase their dreams and lead the society, especially young students, to have more in-depth thoughts on life. This is the third event of the series, where three youth elites from mainland, Ms. Yang Yang, Mr. Chen Shanzhi and Mr. Yang Bo will share their stories.

Speaker’s Biography 

Ms. Yang Yang won the Short Track Speed Skating Champion at Winter Olympics in 2002, and is the Committee Chairman of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics. She will share with us her inspiring story as an athlete representing her country, and her work on youth as the Vice-chairman of All-China Youth Federation. 

Mr. Chen Shanzhi is a national candidate of the “New Century National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project” and a Doctor of Engineering. He specializes in technology research and equipment development on communication theory. 

Mr. Yang Bo is an associate researcher of The Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He specializes in the development of deep-sea submersible, and is one of the aquanauts of “Jiaolong”, China’s first self-designed and self-developed manned submersible.
