The Outstanding Student Awards Presentation
Ceremony was held on 12 February 2015 at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre.
Our President, Prof. Timothy W. TONG officiated at the Ceremony and
presented the Awards to our top students. The awardees shared their happiness with over 150 guests.
This year, the award of "The Most Outstanding PolyU Student" went to Miss LAU Suet Ying Alice, a final-year student of BBA (Hons) Major in Global Supply Chain Management from the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies .

Each year, each academic department under the purview of a faculty will select an outstanding student to receive the “Outstanding Student Award of Department”. These outstanding students of departments under the purview of the same faculty will then compete with each other for the “Outstanding Student Award of Faculty”, whilst the outstanding students selected by the schools not under the purview of a faculty will receive the “Outstanding Student Award of School”. Among these eight outstanding Faculty/School students, one will be further selected for the honour of the Most Outstanding PolyU Student of the Year.
At the Ceremony, each awardee was presented a certificate. A cash prize of HK$5,000, HK$3,000 and HK$2000 will be awarded to each recipient of “The Most Outstanding PolyU Student”, “Outstanding Student of Faculty/School” and “Outstanding Student of Department” respectively. Names of awardees of “The Most Outstanding PolyU Student” and the “Outstanding Student of Faculty/School” have been inscribed on the Roll of Honour inside the Shaw Amenities Building.
