The university of Hong Kong (HKU) carried out some research and they found out that 10 percent of the city’s students had no electronic devices at home while 40 percent needed to share. Sharing device didn’t affect learning a lot before but now that everything is online it is becoming a barrier to education. In the research that was done it was found that there is a family of four students sharing one or two device which may be hard for them in their learning.  Educators are worried since they are unable to help students who have limited access to electronic device and good internet and they are expecting that even when they start face to face school again, they might be a huge gap of digital divide among children with and without access to e learning.
