Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for-profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from, and within the Asia Pacific region. Its member organisations include 95 government, state and city tourism bodies, 20 international airlines and airports, 102 hospitality organisations and 70 educational institutions. Together with its over 4,000 youth members across the world, PATA has now become the leading voice and authority on travel and tourism in the Asia Pacific Region. About Us
The PATA Hong Kong SHTM Student Chapter is currently the only PATA Student Chapter in Hong Kong. We aim at connecting our student members with the latest trends in tourism and hospitality, as well as preparing them to face the industry’s challenges, and to building a strong career after graduation.

Since our establishment in 2013, we have solely- and co-organised a wide range of activities with PATA Headquarters and other PATA Chapters for our members, including seminars, site visits and internship. All these activities offer unique opportunities to our members to gain more exposures to the industry and to network with industry professionals all around the world.
