Joel Cunningham is an architect and educator based in Hong Kong. He is a Registered Architect in the United Kingdom, holding a professional degree from the Royal College of Art (MA), and a post-professional degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (SMArchS) where his research focused on sustainable design and building lifecycles. 

Joel is currently practising as a freelance architect and is an Instructor in the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He previously spent several years with the architectural office OMA, working in both Europe and Asia on a broad range of cultural and commercial projects.
