"You cannot understand good design if you do not understand people; design is made for people." This is my favourite quote, written by Dieter Rams, a German industrial designer. This quote is the motto that keeps guiding me for my learning journey and my career path.
I first found my interest in Interactive design when I attended the first lecture on user-experience thinking. The most valuable thing I have learned is how to make use of design thinking to solve problems critically. Good design is problem solving and user-centric. I received a broad education in my degree program, and I found myself especially interested in courses concerning design thinking and UX research which focuses on gathering information from users by way of a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. I had always been incredibly interested in people - how they think, how they feel, why they do the things they do.

After graduated from university, I started working in UX & UI design field. I'm focusing on meaningful experiences through design and adept at finding user needs, building empathy, and implementing the best-designed solution through creating user journey, wireframe, and prototyping. I've broad experiences in design fields, such as brand building, system backend interface, online store, interactive motion wall, and Kinect game.

However, in recent years, I have been yearning to return to school and continue onto more advanced courses. I hope to broaden my vision while honing my design skills and gain more opportunity to do research into niche topics, especially I have a great interest in the tangible design. I believe having access to more and better research opportunities is a great way to gain life experience, career experience to excel in the professional world in my future career. Besides, I enjoy school life. This is what leads me to this Master's program.

In my future journey, I am committed to earning a master's degree, acquiring more advanced knowledge and specialised skills in interaction design. I believe that this Master's program will help to expand my knowledge of fields related to professional specialisation. I believe that I am a strong candidate because I have the initiative and problem-solving skills to help me excel in life. I am passionate about the subject and will embrace any opportunity to further my skills to improve and flourish in my chosen career. I look forward to putting it to good use as a strong and contributing member of society. I will treasure every opportunity.
