As I am a designer, founder and growth commander, my short-term goal is to learning a new set of design and business integration skills and gaining experience in leadership and team building. By reading the programme introduction and structure available online, I found this course will be best- suited to meet my career goals. I believed that it would give me some new challenges and sustain myself with professional development. PolyU's reputation, quality education and distinguished faculty members reputation are the main reasons to choose MDes to further my studies.

I am always willing and eager to learn new things to enhance my abilities. After I entered the workforce for two years, I found that lifelong learning is now a strategy we need to employ to succeed in our career.

In the 21st-century economy, technology and the way we work change quickly. Our skills learnt before aren't enough for the future anymore. As a designer today, we shouldn't only know the design skills. We have to learn administration, business, interpersonal, leadership, client management and financial planning skills and extra more to become a leader in our industry.

I am confident that I am a valuable and productive student for this programme. I know the meaning of hard work, and I have learnt how to overcome challenges in my personal and academic life. I am active in various design areas and work with different people. My experience will let me be a great team player in every design project, especially for this programme.

I am enthusiastic about understanding technology, developing my own brand, and being a valued team member and leader in some of the most challenging and creative projects. I will try my best to improve people's quality of life with design and make a mark in this field.
