Summary
Thomas Hedger is a London-based artist and illustrator. His work mixes strong lines with fluid shapes and bold colours to create punchy and irreverent artworks. Thomas' work finds inspiration between ambience and language. While pursuing personal projects, he is commercially represented by Grand Matter, having been commissioned by a range of clients such as Apple, The New York Times and the Royal Academy of Arts. Working across print, digital, installation, and sculpture, his drawings have received awards from the V&A, World Illustration Awards, and Adobe, and have been exhibited in the Design Museum, and as part of the London Design Fair.
In this lecture, Thomas will talk through his process, inspiration, working as an illustrator and the importance of self-initiated work.
