Compulsory Quarantine

According to the latest announcement made by the HKSAR Government, all inbound travellers are required to follow quarantine measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

For public health concerns, regardless of which overseas country/region you return from, you are required to make your own arrangement to undertake self-quarantine outside the University-managed accommodation (including Student Halls and Off-campus Housing) for 14 days.

For students who undertake self-quarantine outside the Campus for 14 days, you must adhere to the HKSAR Government’s mandatory quarantine requirement. It would be best for you to book accommodation for the 14-day.

Attention:

  • The Government will put in place a new measure with effect from 22 December to mandate all travellers arriving in Hong Kong from other countries outside China to undergo 14-day compulsory quarantine at the Designated Quarantine Hotels
  • Travellers arriving in Hong Kong on 21 December are also required to book a Designated Quarantine Hotel before departure, otherwise they will be refused to board the flight.

If you encounter any difficulties in finding a hotel, please feel free to contact us by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for assistance.
