This summer, PolyU provided various internship opportunities all over the world. Students had chances to engage in major-related internship programmes in 32 locations namely Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macedonia, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK, the US, and Vietnam.
The students actively engaged themselves in cross-cultural communication with colleagues from different parts of the world, and were also able to sharpen their critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as professional competence at work through the International WIE Programmes, which have enabled them to enhance their career development upon graduation and make contributions as global citizens.
