简历

彭博士于加拿大埃德蒙顿亚伯特大学取得物理治疗学士学位以及脑神经科学哲学博士学位。在修读博士课程期间,彭博士曾获加拿大自然科学及工程研究委员会颁发博士后奖学金,于加拿大温哥华英属哥伦比亚大学进行中风康复之研究。在转职香港理工大学后,彭博士仍然积极进行相关研究。彭教授的研究主要集中于老年康复,特别是对中风或认知障碍症人士的康复治疗。彭教授的研究志趣亦有涵盖智障人士老龄化的问题。彭教授的研究成果及大量相关论文已收录在多份顶尖学刊上。彭教授亦同与前线临床物理治疗同事长期紧密合作,将大量科研成果转移应用于社区康复服务项目中.

在加入香港理工大学之前,彭博士于英属哥伦比亚大学以及亚伯特大学教授学士生以及研究生物理治疗课程,并先后获得亚伯特省大学及香港理工大学颁发优秀教学奖。目前,彭博士教授的课程有研究方法和资料分析、神经康复、以及人生发展周期等。

彭教授现任香港物理治疗学会会长及香港物理治疗期刋总编辑。彭教授亦于2017-2019年担任世界物理治疗联盟执行委员会委员。
