簡歷

鄭樹基教授是香港理工大學康復治療科學系教授及副系主任,他是香港及英國註冊職業治療師、英國特許安全與健康執業者、美國註冊工作能力評估師及澳洲註冊駕駛評估師。他在前香港理工學院接受職業治療專業培訓及後在西澳洲科廷大學獲得健康與安全學士學位,並在香港中文大學醫學院骨科和創傷學系完成了碩士和博士學位和美國麻省理工學院獲得大數據分析證書課程。他是加拿大衛生研究院獎學金的第一位亞洲獲得者,該獎學金在舍布魯克大學和多倫多大學進行工作殘疾預防 CIHR (Canadian Institutes of Health Research) 戰略培訓計劃的研究生培訓。

鄭教授曾任香港人類工效學學會會長、國際人類工效學協會理事會成員及香港職業治療師委員會成員。現任中華人因與工效學協會司庫、美國職業治療期刊副主編、國際職業治療期刊學術編輯及職業康復期刊編輯委員會成員。鄭教授亦是勞工處最低工資條例下殘疾人士認可評估員、香港學術及職業資歷評審局專家及香港職業治療學會副主席。在加入康復治療科學系前,他曾在公立醫院擔任職業治療師,然後經營自己的私人康復中心。他在手功能康復和法律醫療評估方面擁有豐富的經驗。

鄭教授的研究興趣集中在受傷工人 / 殘疾人士職業司機和癌症倖存者的工作殘疾預防和管理。他的研究議程圍繞三個核心問題:1)導致職業傷害的人為因素是什麼? 2) 延遲復工的風險因素是什麼? 3) 不同的復工干預措施,包括康復和管理策略,如何促進及時和安全的復工?
