简历

郑树基教授是香港理工大学康复治疗科学系教授及副系主任,他是香港及英国注册职业治疗师、英国特许安全与健康执业者、美国注册工作能力评估师及澳洲注册驾驶评估师。他在前香港理工学院接受职业治疗专业培训及后在西澳洲科廷大学获得健康与安全学士学位,并在香港中文大学医学院骨科和创伤学系完成了硕士和博士学位和美国麻省理工学院获得大数据分析证书课程。他是加拿大卫生研究院奖学金的第一位亚洲获得者,该奖学金在舍布鲁克大学和多伦多大学进行工作残疾预防 CIHR (Canadian Institutes of Health Research) 战略培训计划的研究生培训。

郑教授曾任香港人类工效学学会会长、国际人类工效学协会理事会成员及香港职业治疗师委员会成员。现任中华人因与工效学协会司库、美国职业治疗期刊副主编、国际职业治疗期刊学术编辑及职业康复期刊编辑委员会成员。郑教授亦是劳工处最低工资条例下残疾人士认可评估员、香港学术及职业资历评审局专家及香港职业治疗学会副主席。在加入康复治疗科学系前,他曾在公立医院担任职业治疗师,然后经营自己的私人康复中心。他在手功能康复和法律医疗评估方面拥有丰富的经验。

郑教授的研究兴趣集中在受伤工人 / 残疾人士、职业司机和癌症幸存者的工作残疾预防和管理。他的研究议程围绕三个核心问题:1)导致职业伤害的人为因素是什么? 2) 延迟复工的风险因素是什么? 3) 不同的复工干预措施,包括康复和管理策略,如何促进及时和安全的复工?
