韓博士畢業於加拿大阿爾伯塔大學，並取得職業治療專業資格。她於香港大學醫學院取得神經生理學碩士，其後於香港中文大學取得神經心理學博士、主修腦功能專科。韓博士亦是一位註冊職業治療師，於兒科康復領域有多年的經驗。治療對象主要是有特殊需要的兒童，包括自閉症譜系障礙、 皮質視覺障礙、 唐氏綜合症、 身體殘疾、腦性癱瘓和感覺統合失調的兒童。在加入香港理工大學以前，韓博士曾於香港教育學院，特殊教育與輔導學系擔任助理教授。其間，並擔任學系研究和發展委員會主席一職。韓博士主要從事研究腦神經心理學及針對有特殊需要的兒童心智復康方法。
