邱淑瑜博士

简历

邱博士于2005年取得香港科技大学生物化学系的学士学位,其后于2009年在香港大学解剖学系取得神经科学博士学位。在加入香港理工大学之前,她在2009年至2012年间获得香港大学博士后研究基金, 及在2012年至2015年获得加拿大维多利亚大学(不列颠哥伦比亚省)的博士后研究基金。她对使用不同的疾病动物模型去探讨如何促进大脑可塑性的非药物和药物治疗特别感兴趣。她目前的研究领域集中在对学习和记忆非常重要的大脑区域:海马体。她主力使用疾病动物模, 例如抑郁症和精神发育迟滞,去研究体育锻炼引起的海马体可塑性的基本机制, 并确定其相关的生物标志物, 从而研究体育锻炼对人类大脑健康状况的影响。此外, 她还研究海马可塑性潜在的认知功能障碍和低智力的治疗护理。她的研究工作使用大量的科研技术来评估海马的结构和功能,例如动物行为分析,电生理,免疫组织染色法和蛋白质印迹法等。
