李淑菁博士是職業治療師及心理學家。她在香港理工學院(香港理工大學前身)接受專業的職業治療訓練，專門處理兒童康復，並擁有豐富的本地及外國臨床經驗，如加拿大Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital。李博士在倫敦大學學院完成應用兒科神經心理學的碩士課程後，在加拿大阿爾伯塔大學獲得Provost Doctoral Entrance Award 及開始攻讀教育心理學博士課程。李博士的博士論文主要研究兒童工作記憶︰早熟及訓練的影響。
