黃宇樂博士

簡歷

黃宇樂博士是一位臨床科學家。他先在香港大學考取理學士學位(主修生物),再於香港理工大學取得一級榮譽物理治療理學士學位。在伊利沙伯醫院任職物理治療師多年後,他決定從事學術研究。為了達成這個目標,黃博士先在香港大學完成他的矯形及創傷外科碩士課程;繼而在加拿大阿伯特大學修畢他的博士學位。

黃博士的研究興趣集中於尋找導致脊骨痛症以及令情況持續的原因。鑑於導致脊骨痛症的原因有很多,故黃博士採用多種的策略,務求對各種導致脊骨疼痛的成因進行量化研究, 以便 搜尋各成因的相對重要性。這些研究結果,對研究人員及臨床醫生在理解及治療脊骨痛症上皆有幫助。

黃博士從香港、加拿大及美國的不同學術組織機構,獲得多項學術獎項,例如加拿大健康研究所(Canadian Institutes of Health Research)、金鑰匙國際榮譽學會(Golden Key International Honours Society)以及國際痛症研究協會等。同時,他的研究成果已於多份著名國際期刊內刊登。
