PolyU Sports Teams shine once again, winning seventh consecutive Grand Slam
For the seventh time in a row, PolyU Sports Teams triumphed in the Men’s and Women’s Overall Championships and clinched the Grand Slam title in the 2024/25 Inter-Collegiate Sports Competitions, organised by the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China. The University’s teams claimed ten championships, nine first runner-up places and nine second runner-up places across 33 sports events. Moreover, ten PolyU students were recognised as Most Valuable Players or Individual Champions, acknowledging their exceptional performances in their respective events.
Furthermore, PolyU student Chan Chung-yin, an outstanding Taekwondo athlete, was named “Sportsman of the Year”, recognising his impressive performances this year.
