Academics famed for contributions in advanced materials

Prof. Wallace Leung Woon-fong at the Department of Mechanical Engineering was lauded with the IAAM Medal 2019 by the International Association of Advanced Materials for his outstanding contributions to research in graphene and 2D materials in energy and environmental applications. The applications of Prof. Leung’s research in the areas of air purification and disinfection are many, and promising indeed.
