Over the past eight months, we have produced six publications:

Kaiwu III《開物III》– With the revamped cover and layout, this issue features a selection of eight articles, each written by experts and scholars on various fields. This issue includes science articles for the public in electric vehicles, energy, education, and artificial intelligence. This magazine aims to introduce the latest developments in science and technology, as well as their contributions to society, through clear and accessible language.

Humanities and Sciences《人文與理工》– The thirteen articles included in this book primarily discuss the past, present, and future of the interaction and integration between the humanities and sciences. Specific issues addressed include the necessity for technological universities to establish humanities departments, and the importance of liberal arts education, as well as other related topics.

The book is a collection of his reflections and personal insights on tea from different angles. The book was also showcased at our retail partner's booth at the Hong Kong Book Fair this year.

Distribution Network

In addition to our physical book distribution partnership with Sino United Publishing Limited (SUP), which operates over 50 bookstores in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and overseas locations, we are pleased to announce that, since March this year, we have partnered with Sino United Electronic Publishing Limited (SUEP) for e-book distribution. We are delighted to see that the e-book of the PolyU Press title, Academic Excellence with Civic Responsibility: The First Decade of Service-Learning at PolyU, is available on Amazon, Google Play, etc. As we move forward, the majority of our future publications will include e-book and digital versions displayed on various e-book selling platforms and the PolyU Press website.

For the Mainland market, we are also pleased to see that the traditional Chinese version (physical book) of Comprehensive Exercise Guide for All《日常全方位運動指南》is being carried by Sino-Commercial Trading Corporation (中華商務貿易公司) and selling on Tmall (天猫). The simplified Chinese e-book is also available on QQ阅读, 创世中文网, 起点中文网.

Internally, the PolyU Digital University Collection under the PolyU library also features the Press’s publications online.

As we expand our distribution network, we will continue to make use of the PolyU Press website and HKTVmall alongside the e-book selling platforms.
