2026 Summer@OxBridge - Summer Abroad Subsidy Application

Application Period: 19 January 2026 (00:00 Hong Kong Time) to 12 February 2026 (23:59 Hong Kong Time)

Late or incomplete submission, or application with missing supporting document will NOT be processed. Should you submit more than once, only the most recent submission will be considered.

The Subsidy for the programme is limited and will be awarded through a competitive selection process. Recipients will be chosen based on the overall quality of their applications.

Read the programme webpage for details and eligibilities of the Summer Abroad Subsidy for 2026 Summer@OxBridge. Subsidy offer will be announced from mid-March 2026 onwards. Subsidy will be transferred to successful applicant’s bank account by end of May 2026, subject to the processing time at PolyU Finance Office. Make sure your bank information is accurate. Endorsed subsidy will be transferred to your bank account from PolyU Finance Office directly. To check and update your bank information, please visit https://www40.polyu.edu.hk/fosae/.

Supporting documents needed for this application:

  • A copy of application confirmation from at least one of the programmes under 2026 Summer@OxBridge 
  • A copy of PolyU Student ID Card
  • A personal statement (At a maximum of 500 words. If your statement exceeds 500 words, only the first 500 words will be considered for review.)
    Topic: What are the qualities that make you a suitable candidate for this programme? How would the programme positively impact your future academic, personal, or career goals?
    * It is not necessary to include the official study programme details from the host university.
