Summary
The use of waste to energy (incineration) technology for managing non-recyclable municipal solid waste has been gaining popularity since landfilling requires extensive land resources, which are not available in highly urbanized areas. But managing the incineration residues which account for about 20 percentage by mass of the original waste, is still a huge problem for waste management authorities. This Webinar aims to disseminate the latest state-of-the-art practice and research studies on valorization of waste incineration residues for use in construction. Renowned professionals and academics in the management of incineration residues area will be invited to deliver lectures.
