The top 10% (or top 20 students, whichever is higher) will be qualified for Asia-Pacific Linguistics Olympiad (APLO), given that their score is higher than the average score of the contestants.More details about HKLO and APLO can be found at https://www.polyu.edu.hk/fh/study/hklo and https://aplo.asia/ respectively.
