Dr. Fangyuan Chen is a consumer psychologist. Her research focuses on consumer information processing particularly relation to branding, consumer well-being, and human-robot interaction. Dr. Chen’s research has been published in premier marketing and psychology journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied. Prior to joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Chen had taught at the Peking University and the Hong Kong University of Science of Technology (HKUST). Her major teaching area is Consumer Behavior (Undergraduate, Master of Science, and MBA level).
