As a social scientist, Dr. Arnaud Cudennec studies the sociological determinants of organizations' and individuals' behaviors in markets. His research examines topics related to categorization processes, expertise, and social institutions using experimental and large-scale quantitative data. He has a particular interest in entrepreneurship (venture capital) and cultural industries. His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Research in the Sociology of Organizations. A graduate in philosophy, sociology, and business administration, he obtained a Ph.D. in management sciences from HEC Paris (France) where he was affiliated with the Society & Organizations Institute. During his Ph.D. studies, he visited the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (Illinois, USA).
