Abstract:

I will first present the research team in Acoustics and Vibrations from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
Our 3 main research topics are
- Duct acoustics with flow
- Fluid-structure acoustic interaction
- Computational acoustics
Then I will detail my personal research topics in vibroacoustics : multilayered shell elements, deterministic high frequency wave simulation, porous materials…

Bio-sketch:

Jean-Daniel Chazot is associate professor at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France (near Paris). He works in the field of vibroacoustics. He develops analytical and numerical models to describe the vibroacoustic behavior of thin structures, and to simulate the deterministic high frequency wave propagation. He published several papers in international journals in acoustics and vibrations. Among them one can cite :
